Avoid melodyloops, they are detested by creators as so much of their music leads to copyright strikes. I wont touch them with a bargepole these days.

Unfortunately I was not approved at MotionArray. I gave them a sample of my best tracks, but it seems they are looking for artists with a clear direction.

I compose all kinds of music, so maybe not the right fit. I will however take a closer look at their best selling artists and work towards creating music that better match their needs.

I just had my first sale at AudioJungle, very nice as I only have 9 tracks in my profile so far. As my first uploads was approved, and I can now upload 30 tracks a month.

I have decided to upload all of my music, as they now let you set the price. It is kind of a hassle to make previews and zip all files, but I think it is worth it. 🙂

Hi Joonas. It’s different for every composer. Some tracks sell well in some libraries while in others the result is no sales at all. It’s the same with my tracks, guess it has to do with different user bases.

Other than that I would say that 11 tracks is not that many on pond5. If you make good tracks an upload a lot more of them, I would expect you to begin seeing sales.

I Have a a total of 38 tracks at pond5 and 18 of them never had a single sale. Others are getting sales on a regular basis.

In reply to sam. I have wondered that myself. I think you can make bins with tracks you might want to buy i the future. Where the cart add is an actual add to the cart.

I wonder if things have gotten really bad with this site or if I’m doing something wrong, I have 11 tracks and 63 sound effects online, these same tracks and sfx sell well on other sites, but I don’t even get many views on Pond5, keywords and everything should be fine. Three months and not a single sale.
