I have around 30 tracks in various genres, most often it’s my corporate tracks that are sold, but I have had sales in many different genres. I have around 2 sales at pond5 a month.

Uploading new music on a regular basis is important and lots of tracks is needed to make some decent money selling royalty free music.

Maybe http://www.ambientmusicgarden.com could be a good place for your music, seems like a decent library – I’m not listed there myself as I don’t have any ambient music.

I have roughly 20 tracks in various electronic genres, all instrumental. Some I classify as house or trance others as ambient, although it’s hard for me to label them to those genres because I don’t think they sound like anyone else that I have heard. I have them in various libraries such as ProductionTrax, Motion Elements, Tune Fruit, YouLicense, and Music Supervisor. I have not had luck with Pond5 accepting my tracks. they claim they already have enough in that style. May I ask, what exactly is corporate music?

it’s right that best selling is corporate… but your track is buried between zillions other! so getting a sale is either a matter or luck or effort in promoting your track, even if i still i don’t understand how to make a good promotion.
my advice would be to produce also “niche” tracks and several simple audiologo/stingers to expand portfolio and visibility.

Agree. And just today I two sales on Pond5! Go figure….
