At Revostock I got 3 sales in 2014, I have however only uploaded 3 new tracks. I do however agree with your observation, my sales has slowed down too.

In 2013 I got ~15 sales, but also uploaded 13 new tracks and 2012/2013 is what the rating is based upon. It’s hard to tell what’s going on with these libraries, as sales also has to do with what kind of music you upload. Maybe it’s time to lower the rating…

Revostock used to sell a lot of my audio when I first joined. Now I get a sale once every blue moon despite uploading more and more content. I can’t understand why they have been rated so highly here.

i uploaded the first tracks here on january 2013.
after almost 1 year these are my stats:

Audio Performance Statistics:
Total Approved Audio Uploads: 122 (I uploaded also a bunch of SFX and logos, actualy music tracks area bout 40-50)
Total Audio Downloads: 5
Total Individual Audio Files Downloaded: 3
Audio Downloads to Uploads Coefficient: 0.025

it also seems revostock faced some problems in the past:

maybe this is why this site is so slow in sales…

i’ve had between 2-4 sales each month since joining revostock. had a wide license sale this month which meant a nicer commission! i am asking $35/$55/$75 for each level they have.

yesterday i finally had a sale on revostock. it’s the 4th from december 2012 (quite bad! :D)
the info i want to share is that, on the home page, there is a chart with the “recently downloaded” music files.
i was in the second place about 156 hours ago when the email arrived (maybe there was some lag between the sale and the notification?), now it’m in the 15th.
so my idea is that, based on this only one stat, on revostock there is about one music sale per hour between about 69000 files. chance of being bought are really low if they are based only on revostock website…

Really cannot answer.
The trick on AJ is to be so lucky to be noticed by a successful videohive author that will use your music as a preview for his video. but it’s very very difficult… i have tried to send many (>100) direct emails, to follow authors, to leave comments… nothing worked.
But i had 2 authors which used my music (really don’t know how did they find me).
the best seller is an audiologo (about 30 sales) but the income is very low because it is on sale at 3-4$. but in any case better than nothing because it increased my reputation.
I have sold a lot of different things: ambient, ethnic, children music, corporate, soundFX… a lot of different things seem to sell there.
If i may suggest you a trick, do not upload a bunch of items all togeter. i feel it is better to have a regular upload of maybe 1-2 tracks a weeks (maybe more if you have so many, 3-4) than 100 tracks at once.
